Hey guys, I'm new to the forum...
I just got Dish network and I have a 722 receiver. Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of these, but I'm a little upset about a few things...
1. I've heard that I can record/watch three programs on this thing, not including previously recorded shows. As far as I can tell, I can only do two. Am I missing something here?
2. Probably my biggest complaint - whenever I'm watching a recorded show, it clears the buffer. So if I'm watching a recorded show and I switch to live TV, I can't back up right away. What's the point of that? I understand if I'm changing channels, but why clear the buffer when you're watching something off the hard drive?
3. When I am recording a show in single mode and I change the channel to that recording in progress, I can't immediately back up. I have to go into my DVR and select the recording and either press view or start over.
Maybe these are trivial to some people, but to me it's pretty crappy thought on the part of the designers, since all of these are easily fixable. Thanks.
