Thinking about upgrading to a blue-ray DVD...All my equipment is about 2 yrs old..I'm wondering if my 720p panny will accept the blue-ray signal..it has 1 hdmi input...i like this projector,but wondering if i have to upgrade it now or get by for a while like my system is

A Blu-ray player should work if you set the output resolution of the Blu-ray player to either 720p or 1080i. It will not work with an output resolution of 1080p since the panasonic AE700 does not accept a 1080p signal.
