My good old momitsu has died an ugly death. My 3 year old fed it marshmellows. Dont ask wasnt pretty. But I need another player that can handle avi's, xvid, mpeg, pal and wmv files. Whats a decent one that can be found at a Brick and Mortar as this is what my wife wants to get me for christmas?? She doesnt want to order online. Why I dont know. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The Philips units are the cheapest.

I had an old and I mean old Philips player and it wasnt very good. Has the quality on those improved???
