Anyone tried the wireless? How is the quality? Any noticable delay? Does it go nuts when a cell phone rings or anything like that?

I have a satin black one, since they released it. t6902wf 12-11-08, 12:37 PM I have two, the wireless works through walls. You have to find the right channel. dirtman62801 12-11-08, 03:44 PM I have two, the wireless works through walls. You have to find the right channel. I have two as well. I have only used it via wireless and they sound awesome! If you are auditioning subs, I suggest you pick up a copy of Batman The Dark Knight. Awesome sound quality and bass! SlowcarIX 12-11-08, 04:22 PM i got a few...its so nice w/o having to mess with wires. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01519.jpg sounds great wireless - bass is fast and defined dirtman62801 12-11-08, 05:57 PM i got a few...its so nice w/o having to mess with wires. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01519.jpg sounds great wireless - bass is fast and defined Nice setup! I hope you are a mile from your closest neighbor! Curiously, what are your main speakers and avr? SlowcarIX 12-11-08, 07:21 PM the mains are emerald physics cs2: http://www.emeraldphysics.com/intro.htm the avp is onkyo 885 ribbit 12-11-08, 07:30 PM slowcar ... can you share your comments on the quad ULS'es versus your previous subs? sourbeef 12-11-08, 07:32 PM i got a few...its so nice w/o having to mess with wires. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01519.jpg sounds great wireless - bass is fast and defined Is the cat deaf yet? dirtman62801 12-11-08, 09:13 PM the mains are emerald physics cs2: http://www.emeraldphysics.com/intro.htm the avp is onkyo 885 Looks like that system will throw your hair back! RUBEN99 12-12-08, 12:37 PM I aslo have one, rosenut ,wireless works great no problems .I am happy with the sound and build quality. Eskimo1 12-12-08, 12:42 PM i got a few...its so nice w/o having to mess with wires. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01519.jpg I can see the big advantage for someone who is placing their sub far away from the equipment rack, but in this case, ummm, there are still a *few* other wires in the vicinity.. :p SlowcarIX 12-12-08, 12:54 PM i initially had the subs behind the couch...imagine running 4 pairs of 40ft line level sub cables + a 4 way splitter in the back of the avp  http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01516.jpg SlowcarIX 12-12-08, 01:25 PM Looks like that system will throw your hair back! almost! the impact from the 4uls is natural compared to my buttkicker, which somewhat seems off no matter how i set it SlowcarIX 12-12-08, 01:28 PM Is the cat deaf yet? hmm...maybe...he loves sitting infront of subs http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff172/slowcarIX/DSC01298.jpg SlowcarIX 12-12-08, 01:35 PM slowcar ... can you share your comments on the quad ULS'es versus your previous subs? the 4uls gives very uniform pressurization/impact. i had serious standing wave issues in my 20'x20' room - it is pretty much taken care of with the uls line array :D also, they go lower than all my previous subs - my back sheetrock walls are flexing insync with the cone movement/acoustic cannons in the hulk scene |
