Im in charge of 25 seat movie theater in my condo that uses an infocus projector.I want as much info on it as I can so I can calibrate it but its installed in the ceiling with no visible model number and no remote available. All I can say is its black with infocus label on the wide surface. It has access to a menu and a few input buttons around it.Calibrating without a remote is going to be a real challenge.
Look to see if the below menu path exists from the main menu. You should be able to use the menu button on the projector, if it has one.
settings>service>service info
The service info screen should display the model name, lamp hours, etc.
Is it this one by chance:

Or look like this:

Or this:

Thanks jeff,Ill check it out compared to the three you have shown me.The pq is very dark on it so work is definitely needed.I assume all these projectors come with remotes?
Matt - yes, they do all come with remotes. How big is the screen? If the image is really dark, it may be a case of a bulb on it's last legs, or the projector just not having enough brightness to drive the screen size.
Ill spend some time with it and get back to you.It services a 24 seat movie theater and is hitched up to a yamaha dvd player that I had a hard time setting up.Wont go to progressive display yet its connected using component.Very frustrating with no manuals or projector remote.
The infocus projector is similar to in78 but thats not it.The menue just gives info on the unit but not its model or hours on the bulb.I tried moving settings away from the factory reset which is everything in middle at 50.Its better but not great. Is it possible to get the same kind of pq off a projector I get from my 43 inch 5 year old Pioneer plasma? If it is,what is most important part of the pq calibration that I seem to be missing? Can I use a calibration disc on it like the sound and vision dvd of a few years ago? Thanks Matt
