Hey guys. I have a panny plasma and a PS3. I currently have my PS3 and cable box each hooked up to my plasma via this HDMI cable from amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Cable-2M-6-Feet/dp/B0002L5R78/ref=pd_sim_e_2

As you can see this cable is extremely cheap, but I'm not sure if it's version 1.3.

I just bought an Onkyo 606 receiver so that I can get lossless audio and I have to buy a third HDMI cable. Do I need to buy a different HDMI cable (perhaps from monoprice?) to get lossless audio or would the above cable from amazon be sufficient?

Also, if I go with monoprice, which cable should I go with? I'm overwhelmed on that site (I don't even know where to begin). Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Any HDMI cable will be fine. That el cheapo one from Amazon will be just fine for you.

So I can get lossless audio with it?

either the cable will work or it won't. How far are you going? If you're not going very far, then pretty much anything will work. It's not like there are extra conductors or anything on higher rated HDMI cables that provide extra features, the cables are fundamentally all the same, mainly their bandwidth performance attributes differ which become crucial at long distances.

These from EForcity have done the trick for me. $2.76 each as of 12/15/08.
