Hey Guys,

I have a Phillips up-convert DVD player.

I have been using an HDMI cable to send a 720p signal to my HDTV. It has been working fine up until a couple days ago. The picture being sent from the DVD player is completely fuchsia or purple and looks all digitized. You can't even make out the picture. You can hear sound though.

When I use the included composite cable, the picture outputs just fine.

So, what seems to be going on here? Thanks!!

Ok, just found out the DVD player's HDMI port was messed up....

To top it off the DVD player died on me.....
