Hi guys,

I have a Sony HDX500 home theater in a box. Works great. I just bought the Sony WAHTSD1 Wireless Kit for the rear surround sound speakers. However, I can't get the wireless kit it to work.

Everything seems plugged in and otherwise properly connected according the manual. However, I can't get the the system to recognize the rear speakers. The light remains red on the rear amplifier. I even aligned the two transmitters inches apart from each other and I can't get the light to turn green.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Did you have to splice your transmitters wire with the box that plugs into the stereo receiver? Mine were separated and I didn't know if that was supposed to be like that or if it had been tampered with.
