I have an 8300HDC with Passport Echo. Tonight while watching a DVD I noticed the display on the front of the box went off. It then displayed the 'boot' message on the front display and shortly after that displayed the time. I didn't switch from my DVD and can only assume it booted correctly. About 5 minutes later the display went black again, but it never rebooted. It sounds like the hard drive is spinning but switching to "cable" source on my tv only shows "no signal". I unplugged the box and plugged it back in 15 minutes later, but it only gets as far as showing 'boot' on the front display then goes black.

This is may second 8300hdc, my first one would randomly reboot while watching tv. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm about ready to run back to tivo...
