I am having trouble with getting HD Audio out of my AVR247. I have a Samsung bluray, Samsung 55" LCD, and cable DVR box I am trying to get HD audio out of. I didnt think there to many ways to hook up HDMI cords. I have to be missing something though. I am currently getting sound from Video 1 5 ch source hooked up with rca. Any advice would help. Im at a loss. Thanx

Which Samsung Blu-Ray player do you have? If you're using HDMI, that should be enough. I have a HD DVD and a Blu-Ray player connected to this same AVR. You may need to update the firmware for 7.1 multichannel PCM over HDMI. Moreover, something might be amiss with your settings on your Blu-Ray player. There should be no need for you to use RCA.
BTW, there's a lot of good information AVR-247 thread.
