My room is 20x20x8, Screen (circa) 9 feet long.
I have 2 subs (F113's)
Do I set my speaker tower and each sub next to the screen on each side close. Or do I make my front tower and each sub wide out and rears wide out from the screen? I have 11 feet to play with up front and the back wall.

Subs positioned inside (between towers) and Screen, or outside Tower speakers?
(Does it even matter)

My sitting positions 18 feet back from screen!

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

place them right by the screen, listen a bit, then move them out, listen a bit and figure out what sounds best.
My guess is just outside the screen, with the subs on the outside. (9ft apart for mains is pretty good).

Thank you for the response.

Just so you know, my mains are Mcintosh LS360 and the Subs are JL F113.
So they can put out a lot of output.
Do you think only 9 feet apart is enough, for the sound stage, sitting 18/19 feet back?
Should the rears, be as wide as the fronts?

Thanks!
