i plan to mount some bipolar def techs (BP2x's) about 6 feet off the ground, but had a question about placement on the wall (left/right direction). seats will be against the back wall, which is why i plan to mount the bp2x's on the rear wall as well, but one of the two surrounds must be pretty close to a room corner due to the seating layout.

so: given that i am mounting the bipolar bp2x on the back wall, how much clearance do i need to give it from the side wall that it will be next to? would 1-2, maybe 3 ft be far enough away or will i get too much reflection off that side wall? i cant go much farther away from the than 2-3 ft, though i suppose i can get some wall treatment if people think the reflections would be too intolerable.

thoughts?

thanks,
rukus
