Hi, first post, first time Home Theatre experience so please be gentle ;).

I just bought a Pioneer DCS-370 Home Cinema System last night and am trying to figure out how to connect to my existing setup.
I've got a Panasonic 42pv70 and at the moment I've got a standard Sky satellite box as well as a modified old xbox I use for streaming divx connected via scart to the tv.

What I'd like to do is be able to run both through the DCS-370 but I'm not sure how to do it. There is one scart connection, 1 hdmi connection as well as a video connection on the DCS-370.

As the Sky box has two scart connections should I just be able to connect the xbox to the sky box and then the sky box to the DCS-370. Finally connect the DCS-370 to the tv using the HDMI connection?
Sorry my understanding of the workings of Home Cinema is limited to say the least at the moment, I've read the manual but couldn't see if this should be ok.
Any suggestions much appreciated. By the way there is no optical out on the DCS-370. Apologies by the way for no links to each component, need at least 3 posts to add url's :(

I didn't have a clue what you were talking about so I looked it up. Seams that the scart connector is something from your side of the pond.

For a broader audience of scart users you may want to try the AVforums not the AVSforum.

Wish I could help.
