Do Slot Loading DVD players exist anymore?

I work for a non-profit corporation, and we had a 32" LCD TV donated to us by a local store this fall and we had it mounted in one of our building's lobbies. The problem is, this TV doesn't have a DVD player built in, and management wants it to have a dvd player to play movies/promo content for clients and their children.
There is really no good place to 'shelf' a dvd player', but the flat mount the TV is on provides several inches of clearance between the wall and the TV, and seems like the PERFECT place to slip a player and keep it hidden but functional. Problem is, this would place the player vertical along the wall and I CAN'T freaking find a player that is either slot loading, or have the tabs on the tray to allow the disc to be inserted vertically.

An hour on google and everything I've come across has been discontinued.

Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas? PS3, but that's a little expensive for use as a dvd player only. maybe you can get an old used one?
