Test:
( two monitors used) - one to run application Numark- arkaos DJ processor and the other one is to connect the Gefen to it ( THe Hp w2207h)
One thing, THe Gefen has a bug in the HDMI output that render it not very efficient in detecting the display and centering it, it will take some time to get the screen centered , in another word I spend more than 30 minutes waiting for the unit to detect the display ( HP w2207h or for both to communicate with each other ) as the firmware has limitations and specific functionality.
All screens were centered- after long period of trying- Bug in firmware.
All resolutions of recorded videos are 720P. ( though Gefen0002 has different resolution , it show full screen and less cut off from borders)
Monitor used is HP w2207h ( HDMI)
Picture in picture - Go-Max Mx 1010.
Gefen- immediately pressed Home Bottom to have Mx 1010 signal appears as a second monitor ( DVI output from MX 1010 to HDMI input of Gefen using DVI to HDMI cabel )
Dvi from Pc ( Pc has two DVi - En8800 video card) to Mx 1010 Dvi input. Resolutions used 1280 x 720 (GEFN0001) and
1280 x 1024 (GEFN0002)

will show PIP box which is a feature of Mx 1010 and can have different resources ( for example VGA input from Laptop).

This will show less cut off of screen , no one single pixel was missing, same quality as the application Nuvj 1.5 beta from arkaos ( with controller).
test result :
Pressing the record I recorded two videos, pressing Home again while Pc resolution was 1280 x 720 will bring the home page of the gefen.
Pressing the home key while screen res. is 1280 x 1024 will cause bit problem, but still recording can be done successfully.
After the recording I set the screen res. to 1280 x 720 ( of the second display or the Mx 1010) to bring the Gefen home page.
I was able to play both videos
I was able to copy them to the SDHC 32GB card and used card reader from tiger direct to read the 32GB card, I tested it at the store before purchasing it .
Both file played with QT without logos from gefen.
Both file played with Window Media player using codec from:

Both files played with VLC with gefen Logo appears or file name.
