We have great threads about AQ, PQ, your top 5, etc. In this thread you have people coming over that have never watched a Blu-ray and use their TV speakers for audio. You can choose one and only one disc to play. You can either play certain scenes or the whole movie, but once that disc is in the player it can't leave.

So, what do you put in?

Mine would be Top Gun, opening scene on the carrier. I know there's better PQ and AQ out there, there's a bunch of it on my shelves. Top Gun gets played because so many people have either watched it in the theater, on tv, or on DVD. They can see, hear, and feel the upgrade on this Blu and compare it to what they remember. They don't usually know how Baraka would look or Master and Commander would sound at home because they haven't watched those movies.

Now, when Star Wars finally comes out on Blu I'll be changing my answer.

This is an easy one for me. Jewel: The Essential Live Songbook. Excellent picture, fantastic sound, great performances and content (if you are a fan of hers). If the Eagles Farewell 1 Tour was on blu that would be my choice (I have that one on HD DVD).

"I Robot" looks and sounds amazing. Same with POTC 1+2.

Recently I have found "The Incedible Hulk" to really look and sound solid. Universal new releases have been top notch recently.

Sorry, but part of the reason we started the Tier audio and PQ threads was to cover topics like this. If we didn't, we'd have a new threads asking about the best overall demo, best chapter, best scene, best car crash audio etc etc....as we have had in the past. So we ask that ppl use/research those threads to cover such topics.
