Any suggestion on what remote to get?

I hear the PS3 can't be controlled because it uses Bluetooth. Anyway around this idiocy on Sony's part?

I use the Nyko Blue-Wave remote ($15) for my PS3. Does everything except power.

For a remote, I use the Harmony One (they have the Nyko codes in their database). I am fairly satisfied with it. I came from Pronto and miss some of the advanced programability, but it scores high on WAF.

Harmony IR to Nyko, NYko sends a USB signal via USB port.

There are more elegant and less limiting fixes available to the Googler. The solution I use is 100% effective - power On and Power Off and all PS3 remote BT controls. (The IR4PS3.)

When Googling these various solutions take particular note of the date of the post - many posts report problems that have subsequently been corrected.
