Has anyone seen both of these projectors? If anyone has and could give me a honest opinion of which is better and why I would be most appreciative.

I would put the JVC RS20 on your list if you are considering those two products. I chose the RS20 over those for black level performance and color performance.

I won the Sim2 Ht 380 and have had a fair amount of trouble with it. i am now getting about 300 lumens out of it after 200 hours.

I would definitely look at the RS20 before making a decision.
