A while back I bought an 8GB Sony Pro Duo stick which was counterfeit. When I put in the CX12 it pops a white screen warning me about potential reliability when using the stick. It proved to be an issue as I had buffer overflow errors around 3 minutes into a recording.

So, can anybody tell me if the SanDisk Pro Duo sticks are going to have the same warning/white screen issue? Does Sony put something in their Pro Duo's so that the unit won't pop the error?

I'd really like to use SanDisk media as I have a store credit from a local shop and they don't carry the true Sony sticks.
