I can view music on WMC 360 if the files are on my C: drive. That worked flawlessly and was awesome.

Hooked up external hard drive to the PC, put music on it and loaded it into Windows Media Player. All of the music on this drive was accessible in WMC on my PC but not on the Xbox.

I have the music folder on the external drive set up for sharing, they are unprotected MP3's, and the drive is formatted to NTFS. I only think NTFS would matter if the drive is connected directly to the xbox?

Am I missing anything? Should this be working? I'm going crazy!

i havent used the WMC interface on the 360 in a while, but don't you have to add them again from the 360 interface? can you not see the external there at all?
