I am getting a _used_ Velodyne DPS 12 locally (for $200) and I wanted to know if I would be better off getting a new Dayton 12" from Parts Express (about $135). I have a set of Athena Point 5 speakers (5.1) with an Athena AS-P300 sub being used with an Onkyo TX-SR600 receiver.

Hsu STF-1 is another option but not having heard either of these subs, I am not sure which one I should get.
