View Full Version : Epson 6100 - How to calibrate, and where to get test patters?

I recently purchased an Epson 6100, which so far I am pleased with. However I would like to calibrate it to get the best performance, so I assume I need test patterns? If so any suggestions as to where I can get a DVD with test patterns and step by step instructions?

Also would I be able to test if I have any convergence issues with a test pattern?

Thanks!

Digital Video Essentials (DVE) on Blu-ray or SD DVD is a good starting point. I plan to do this soon with my Epson HC 6100 projector.

actually the remote has a button on it called "pattern" which puts up a test pattern that will show all those issues.

did it on mine and looks pretty good. from left to right it goes from perfect to couple pixel off in the lower right area. it causes the blacks in the area to have a slight red tinge to em.
