View Full Version : Under Cabinet LED Lights??

I'm looking for 2' long strips of LED lights that I can mount under my basement cabinets. The strip must be able to be hard wired to a switch, I'm not looking for the plug in type.

Does any have any experience with these?

Could anyone recommend a place online to purchase?

Would I be better off going with a fluorescent?

I do not think it would be to code to do it this way without using the type that are meant to be mounted in gang boxes.

For most LED strips, you need a transformer as they are 12v DC devices.

Since you want something 2 feet long and switchable off AC, then I would consider going flourescent unless you want dimmable.
