So I am trying to hook up my cable tv + cable internet off of one cable line I have in my room, after further research it seems I need some type of 2 way splitter.

My question which 2 way splitter should I buy? And where at for the best deal?

I've found 2 in my garage but not sure if they would work one of them is 5-900 mhz and the other is a 950-2150 mhz

Would any of these work or should I buy a different one, any help would be appreciated!!

Try the 5-900 Mhz one and see if it works ... those are the frequencies used by Cable TV. Most newer / higher quality splitters are rated 5-1000 Mhz, meaning that someone printed up a different label. The 950-2150 Mhz is for satellite tv ... Dish Network.
