Hi, I'm having a problem I hope some of you's can help me out....


I'm using Vegas Movie studio 8.0b platinum, now when I add a m2ts (HD video) of 200 megs into my project Vegas doesn't like that and it gives an error. But I can add a 50meg file with no problem....

My questions are:

Is there a media file size limit to Vegas ?

My computer has the following Duo core T7250 running Vista Home with 2 gigs of ram, would increasing memory to 4 gigs help me out ?

There is no media file size limit in Vegas.

I don't think adding the RAM will help.

I'm not sure what the problem would be. You sure you have enough empty drive space? You might ask on the Sony Vegas forums: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/default.asp

Yep got enough drive space...... I'll run a few more tests and look up the Vegas forum...
