Anyone have success running the xbox 360 (not elite) using a VGA cable and this TV? i know it's a crap shoot trying to find someone with this tv, running vga cables, that happens to be checking this forum but... ;)
perhaps even if your not you can help me out.

It's not working. I'm forced to run my tv using the Component cables. When i pop in the VGA cable, i get no display at all. I tried resetting the XBox's display settings while booting it up (i believe it's left & right trigger + Y button to reset), to no avail. i even drop the settings down to 480p before switching the cables to no avail.
any ideas?

Bad cable? At worst it should at least work at 1024x768 I would think. You probably want to go over to the Plasma section of this board and post in the PZ800U thread instead though.

Ya, i just figured it out. please disregard the post! :-\
i rigged up my old projector and put the res down with the projector connected. i guess the xbox was defaulting to whatever the projector was LAST set to... which was 720p. i now have it running at 1360x768. thanks!
