View Full Version : Fox Titels, different European Codec?
private Angus 01-04-09, 02:31 PM Hi,
i'm considering buying some Fox Titels, I Robot, From Hell, The Day after Tomorow.
According to highdefdigest, the Picture Quality on those 3 supposed to be awesome, now i checked amazon.de and people are complaining about the Picture Quality.
So does this mean we europeans don't know a good picture when we see it, or did Fox use a different Codec in Europe for these releases?
Thanks for any help!!

Actually all it means, is that the German reviewers on Amazon.de are whiners, something that I've noticed multiple times over. Ignore them.
What is Fox Titels?
What is failed sarcasm?

Yep. All those discs you've mentioned look great, particularly I,Robot.
private Angus 01-04-09, 04:59 PM ok, thanks a lot, will get them tomorrow, would you say from hell and the day after tomorrow are worth double dipping since i already own them on SD-DVD.

In terms of picture and sound quality, then definitely. I'm not sure if any of the extras have been dropped for the blu-rays, but in terms of actual movie presentation, there's no comparison.
Gary Murrell 01-04-09, 05:46 PM From Hell is a total mess, the worst EE I have ever seen on BD :(

So stuck with US.BD is the best.
