Yesterday I was playing with the settings for my PDP 4340HD.

I set the settings ->identically<- for all parameters in both Movie mode and User mode. The resulting pictures were totally different.

Can someone tell me why?

I set the settings ->identically<- for all parameters in both Movie mode and User mode. The resulting pictures were totally different.

Can someone tell me why?Probably because the factory baseline values for each picture mode are different. I think this is the case with all TV brands.

Different picture modes may have different gamme curves, color temperature, etc.
