I'll still watch it, and more than likely I'll enjoy it too. People thought this past season wouldn't be very good and it ended up being a great season (one of the best).

From the looks of early reports, it sounds radically different than Scrubs as we know it. I hope it doesn't crash and burn like other shows that try to keep going. Sounds similar to what happened in That 70's show in its final season.

The Janitor character has a new show on ABC now so I don't know how they are going to deal with that, the JD character has left and who knows what else is going on. Hopefully it'll still be good, we'll just have to see how it all shakes out.

So so start.

As a big fan of the former show, I was really let down by these first two eps. The newer cast members are a major bore. Removing it from my DVR so that it doesn't taint my memories of how good this used to be.

It has brief moments that remind you of the show it used to be, but the new set-up at a university is ridiculous; why didn't they just continue the show at the hospital but with new doctors? I hate to see this show go out like this. With any luck, ABC will cancel it soon and put it out of its own misery.

Think of it as a spin-off with the same name instead of season 9...

Bill Lawrence actually wanted to change the name of the show to Scrubs Med, but ABC said no.

JD will be in the 1st 6 episodes. According to both Braff & Donald Faison, JD could pop up in future eps beyond the 6.

Sarah Chalke will be back for 4.

Of the central cast, AFAIK, only Judy Reyes will be a complete no-show.

Have yet to see the 2 new eps yet, but was wondering about Janitor's fate.

I liked it. I didn't want to, but I did. I love Scrubs and it retains the feel while letting the original cast move on. I like the new characters, they're more real and less goofy, but still funny.

I thought last night's episodes were decent. The change in setting is going to take some getting used to. I thought the Lucy character was OK, but I'm not crazy about her having her own inner-monologue. If Zach Braff is not going to be a main character, then I don't see the show succeeding. I really miss Judy Reyes as well.

Another gripe I had was they showed the 1st year med students making rounds with attendings. I thought med students didn't begin their clinical rotations until the 3rd year.

Lucy is the new "JD" when it comes to that.

Didn't finish the 2nd episode but I have some hopes for it. You can't expect it to come out like the "old" Scrubs since they have to introduce the characters. PQ was sub par. I saw a few changes in quality at times.

Love the Australian chick. ;) Thought it was funny how Perry kept acting like he can't understand her.

The biggest thing that bothered me was why they ditched most of the new cast they brought on last year. Overall it was a decent first couple of episodes.
