hey guys I just noticed this the other day and I cant figure out what the problem is. On the top of my display there is a purple line that runs across the top of the screen and its about 1/2" thick. Im not sure how to go about fixing this.
I own a 62" Mitsubishi DLP HDTV model # wd62927. Any info will be greatly appreciated :)

Have you tried unplugging the TV from power (wall) for a few minutes to reset?

it shows on everything...xbox, comcast, wii, ps2...ive unplugged it, done the factory reset yet it still shows up.

That's a lot a "bad" A/V cables.

it shows on every resolution...i unscrewed the top decorative border today and i noticed that it goes right to the edge of the screen, but if my tv shakes the bar moves...im thinking maybe i could have installed the new lamp at an angle...causing it to be off?
