I am in the process of getting a new camcorder and I saw a good deal for an HF100 ($600 Canadian)
I just wanted to see what the memory capacity is.. I think most web sites say 8 gigs.. But I thought I read that people used 16 gigs.
How high a card can you get for this? Is the HF100 a good camcorder?

1) capacity is not a problem, 8, 16 and 32 gig will work. Since you have the choice, get a Class 6 SDHC card so you don't have to worry about the speed when filming at 17MBPS.
2) To my point of view, the HF100 is the best cam money can buy right now. It's cheap and it had one of the best (if not the best) PQ you will find in any comparable product.
That's why I bought one.

That's a pretty good price. May I ask where you bought it?
Cheers.
