We recently had to change our bulb after 2 years of use. Purchased from Sony online store, so didn't buy a cheap off-brand. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or not, but now tend to get a lot of yellowy hues, especially noticeable on faces/flesh.

Been playing with all kinds of custom settings, but can't quite get rid of it. I've seen several professionally calibrated settings that people have posted, but all must be for TVs in very dark rooms. When I input those settings, it's so dark that it is impossible to see any detail. Our TV is unfortunately in a very bright room during the day, so can't use those.

Should I try to get a calibration DVD like Digital Video Essentials or another like it? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as this is driving me nuts!!!
