I have purchased the HDX 1000 player recently and have not faced any issues yet. However, based on what I am seeing on various sites like networkmediatank.com and hdx1080.com, I fear that this company is in trouble or not ready to stand behind their product and not providing any level of support.

I am almost ready to return the product and buy a different NMT like the PCH which has a lot of support.

Can anyone let me know if they strongly feel I should continue persisting with HDX? I know this is somewhat of a subjective question but if anyone has some inside information about the company, please suggest.

if it has no problems and you like the product i wouldn't return it
for support go to the http://www.networkedmediatank.com/ and check out the threads on pch
because all the media tanks are almost identical a lot of the info on the pch can apply to your hdx
your hdx also runs much cooler than the pch due to the thick aluminium case, and the case being in contact with the internals
