I have a Toshiba 40H80 RPTV with a problem that has cropped up all of a sudden. The unit is about 8 years old and was trouble free until now.

I've attached a link to a video sample of what the TV is doing at the end of this message. This looks like the TV will not sync or something... this happens on any input I try be it the TV tuner, DVD input, s-video input, etc.

I would like to determine if it's worth it or not to try and repair it myself (if possible) or if I should have a service tech try to fix it, or if I'm just out of luck. Thanks in advance!
