I have done an exhaustive google search but haven't been able to find the procedure for accessing the service menu on the 40RV525. The GUI is the same for the AV502 models and the older AV500 series, so they all probably use the same method. The common "hold mute on remote, press menu on TV" method does not work.

Does anyone know the sequence for any of these TVs?

To get into the service menu for the 40RV525R/U press "Left", "Exit" and "Enter" in succession. I hope that helps.
