Hi,

I'm considering buying such a color meter.

The specifications only say 'Monitor' calibration.
Does this mean I will not be able to use it for my LCD TV or Projector?

Or does what you can calibrate only depend on the software you use with it?

If I buy one I want to be able to calibrate my TV, monitor and Projector.
Otherwise it is too expensive to buy a different device for each display device.

The meter itself is fine for monitor and projector calibration. However, the software that comes with it is only used to build calibration profiles for use with a computer's video card. It's fine if you're going to use an HTPC as your sole source, but not so good if you aren't. You'll need other software such as CalMAN or HCFR to calibrate displays such as TVs and HT projectors.

Skim this looking at the pictures, ignoring the details of using HCFR (for now).
