i've been running the procinema 800 for 3+ months now, very pleased with the purchase.

but saturday the prosub decided to stop turning on.

no settings have changed, nothing, and i can't get it to come back on (playing with gain, xover, etc.)

i have the L/R channel coming off the receiver (pioneer vsx-1018ah-k), to the sub, with front speakers set at large, and the L/R speakers connected to the sub.

sound is reaching the L/R speakers so did the auto-on crap out?

suggestions?

Does your sub have a fuse? I would check your fuse to see if it has blown.:)

oh yeah, i did check the fuse and it looked fine. however, i did not test it for continuity. i'll do that tonight.

i would be surprised though if it blew, as i keep the subwoofer at a relatively low volume, given the small size of the room.

If you can't get it to come on no matter what, and the fuse checks good, then it seems you have a defective amplifier. In that case, you'd need to take it to your dealer and have the unit repaired.
