I am looking to buy a new subwoofer. I have the 1.5 KW amp from the Logitech z-5500. I was thinking of getting the Pioneer Premier TS-W3004SPL 12" 3000 Watts Car Audio Subwoofer.

I am pretty new at speaker setups so any and all advice on what to look for in buying new woofers.

First of all, you are in the wrong forum.

Second, the amp in the Z5500 is really crap.

Third, that's a really horrible woofer choice.

Having measured a Z5500 I'd be surprised if its 25 watts per channel. It had trouble making the 75db that most people test at without clipping. The blue trace is 6.5 on volume and 3.5 on subwoofer. Anything above that and the sub clipped.

Ya i was wrong. It is only 505W total.
