I bought an open box rsw10d from vanns and it was DOA. What would you do, I can return it and continue my search for a small sub for less than $500 delivered or send it to klipsch to be repairedunder warranty.

i looked at eD a3-250 but it is build to order, a bit to big and fugle (WAF). which seems to matter this time even though currently i have 20zx20X28" DIY in the corner that is raw mdf. It has been that way for so long I do not think she even sees it any more. I brought in the little rsw in pretty cherry and first thing she said was "it is bigger than i thought".......what?

I guess I would send it back to Vann's. Unless you REALLY want an RSW-10d. Because I don't think you are going to get that deal on one, open-box or NIB, anywhere else, again.

OH yea. funny alright. I am leaning towards getting it repaired even though it is brand new. never even been used. I know it is a really good sub for $500.
I am guessing they will replace the whole amp assy instead of trying to repair it or send my direct replacement. I usually have good luck w/ warranty work. Usually works as good as new or even an upgrade to whatever is in stock. I sent in a 250gb ext. hard drive for under warranty once and seagate sent me back 1tb. nice
