Okay so i recently upgraded my receiver to a pioneer 1018, i have a sony dav-fc9 HTIB and i connected all the speakers and the sub to the pioneer, i was thinking about getting a bigger sub, i think the sub on this is 8", i was thinking of going 10" or 12", what would be a good sub in the $300 range that i could easily hook up to the 1018 and get some good bass out of it?

I just upgraded my sub. There are a bunch of posts on here for sub reccomendations in that price range. You can check out the dayton subs or the subs from TSC. TSC just came out with the T-250 that looks pretty good or the ASW-10. Also check your local craigs list and see what they have on there. I picked up a Phase Technology 15 inch for super cheap.

That's funny...I just helped my neighbor upgrade his Sony HTIB sub. I brought over my PA-120 and he love it...great deal for $229.
