Okay, I am making my personal family HD movies into Blu-Ray ISO's from Adobe Encore. They play great with menus with powerDVD.

Now, I just purchased a popcornhour box which plays my DVD ISO's just great. It will play a m2t HD stream just great. But at the moment, the linux will no play an BR-ROM ISO. So, does anyone know of a linux SW module that will play BR-ROM ISO's?

Thanks

Dave

I think some have llink working to open an BR ISO, you then have to select which m2ts file to play. At least that is my understanding of how it works. Also they need to be unencrypted to play.

doesn't yet exist. Playing the A/V streams is trivial compared to implementing a full BD runtime environment, complete with BD-Java and the like. I wouldn't expect to see it for another year or so, given the level of complexity

Thanks. Not looking for a full BR player, one that just plays them like powerdvd
does. The authoring tools like Encore can produce them, powerdvd can play the ISO on the PC with just DVD menus. Just need to get to a STB. But, this currently is a very small percentage of my family video, so in the future. :o)

PowerDVD *is* a full BD player though, in terms of the runtime environment =)
