i am looking for an inexpensive replacement for my sub in my movie room. the room is 10x10 and currently has an onkyo htib sub and a def tech 8". the def tech is staying but the onkyo needs to go. now the vx-10 is $90 on craigslist and the vlf-1012 is $140 which would you choose? i have heard the vx-10 and it is a pretty nice sub for the money but i have no experience with the 1012.

I had an onkyo sub for awhile and upgraded to a vx-10. I was real happy, it was a nice upgrade. It sounds great for music and movies.
