Hi,

Yesterday I started my HTPC and Powerstrip, changed the setting in Powerstrip from 1080p to 1080i and than started my G70.
Than I had to change from DVI input to YUV on my G70 for source and after some seconds with picture the G70 stopped with error Code 35.

Now, I can start it for 2-3 sec. than it stopped with the same error Code.

I learnt here in avs that it my be a E-Board or/and PA Board damage.

How can it be? Normally I offen use YUV input for normal TV source scaled to 1080i 72 hz and Moome DVI input for 1080p 48 hz. Powerstrip may be the source for that disaster but I can`t understand the reason.

I hope you can help me to find the mistake I`ve done.

it's just a board failure, happens all the time on G70's. Nothing to do with you switching sources.

I can repair them if you want.

regarding my error Code 35 I got message from a user that I can buy a E-Board from him.

I learnt that there are two versions of E boards. How I can find out that the offered board is the same I have?

On the board I found a no. Sony I - 662-833-11 IS - C3

Are you sure about there being 2 versions of E board Complete ??
I know There is 2 versions of PA boards, the old PA boards part number ends in "A' and the new ends in "B" .....
