Anybody hook their pc up to the ae3000u? Just curious if it looks alright/ readable and what not.

I was looking at the Benq SP831 cuz it has 4k lumens, but everyone thought I was crazy when I brought it up when I went to the tv store today.

I use my projector as a primary monitor, have a tv tuner card so I use it for TV and movies as well.

My worry is that the AE3000u won't be bright enough...

I dont know what to do.... Go for the super bright low contrast projector, or go for the one with awesome color...

I just wish there was a projector store where I could actually check out all these projectors next to each other so i could see their strengths/weaknesses

Of course people in a tv store will think PJs are crazy, they need to sell tvs. 4,000 lumens is a lot of light. You may discover that it will be too bright. Either way both PJs will work fine with an HTPC.
