View Full Version : Does Moome ever answer emails?

Moome has had my second faulty FullHD card now for nearly three weeks and still no refund (which he agreed to). No replies to my emails - nothing. Perhaps I'll need to pursue the refund with PayPal.
All things considered my first and likely last dealings with Moome.
Buyer beware I guess. :mad:
Has anybody managed to contact him this year?
nashou66 01-25-09, 08:06 AM Go to curts site and send an e-mail from there, Moome has had problems with his seednet adress. he has a new one and kal posted it. Also its the chinease new year so he'll be gone for a little over a week.
I have had no problems with moome, he does more for keeping CRT current with the new digitals than any other people. if i have to wait 6 months for an HDMI card for my marquee i will wait, who els makes them? its worth the wait in my opinion and others.

Citation4444 01-25-09, 09:11 AM I received 13 email responses from moome over the period of 9/23/08 to 11/16/08 when I was purchasing and asking followup questions about my EXT FULL-HD. He was perhaps a little slow sometimes, but about what I'd expect from someone many time zones away.

barcoed 01-25-09, 10:39 AM OK. Thanks for the info. Moome has had the card since the 5th of this month (PO verified) so unless he’s enjoying a very long vacation, I would have expected something by now.

nashou66 01-25-09, 12:45 PM hes only had for three weeks, ahhhh thats nothing, when he has it for three months id start to worry. Moome may be slow but he keeps his word and will always repair , return, refund or give you a new card. I never heard him saying oh well tough $hit.
He'll even trade up your old cards i think for a discount.

Why don't you people call instead of emailing? Get a magic jack, Skype etc, it's not expense to call anymore
Different time zones. Not really easy to call Taiwan when you want.

What a shame that his communication is soooooo poor! – I will never purchase another Moome product because of this slow communication – irrespective of any performance benefit they might provide. I have no doubt regarding his integrity but with such shocking customer service his products are off my shopping list for good. :(

hessel holland 02-06-09, 10:57 AM Yeah...I got the original shipment EXT-HD which had an incorrect chip installed. Did the ship to Canada repair thing, came back not repaired and did not receive the promised $10 refund. Finally got Moome to ship another chip and eventually the remote started working most of the time but, after 3 or 4 "send me your paypal account email address and I'll send you the $10" it never happened. Only $10 but.....
The ext-hd has been worth it for me all said and done.
