My mother is looking to up her current Home Theather Setup. She's looking into an LCD but can't decide between 120hz and non 120hz, she watches some sports, but most just regular TV.

Now she is also looking at replacing her Home Theather setup which is made up of a very old receiver with 8 speakers and a sub hooked up to a 200 watt receiver. ( I know my brothers think they are cool...)

Anyways, I was looking at the current setup and wanted to know what you guys think, she is looking for the cheapest and best way to get the stuff.

I can't comment on the TVs, but I'd stay away from a HTiB that has an integrated DVD or Bluray player. It can get more expensive down the road to upgrade or replace if something goes wrong.

It's for my Mother, who doesn't have anything, its the simplest thing, and they work fine. She has nothing else to hook up, so a receiver would be over kill, especially when she's not a big video person, its just there for when she wants to watch movies... (It's also more expensive to go all separate.)
