Ok so I was thinking, I use my xr10x in 16:9 mode, where it just places black bars on the video signal. So this is my question

Would you say a dedicated 16:9 Projector at 1600 lumens ( ae 3000u) would be about the same brightness as a 4:3 Projector thats being used in stretch mode?

because you can still see the black bars just slightly on top and bottom of my projector when used in stretch mode ( aka wasted light that could be directed into the 16:9 area)

Is this the right thinking?

BTW xr10x has 2000 lumens
