please forgive my ignorance;
so i'm thinking of getting a sony g70 crt projector. i've ben reading about these cards (Moome card, HD Fury, etc.). the g70 has component inputs, can't a component hook-up deliver a full 1080 HD signal? or would i need to get one of these things? please explain.

component wont allow the blu ray plaer to output full 1080p because of HDCP encryption.
With the card its HDCP compliant and allows the source to send out the full 1080p signal.
Component will only be 1080i.
