It is getting very consistent that everyone that experiences Prometheus is shocked at the extreme 3 dimensionality of the image projecting INTO THE ROOM.

Did walk by a large torus doing a noticable blend at ISE a few years ago, so nothing new, just comming down to solid implementation. Years ago Fraunhofer was showing its blending technology using a small torus on top of its IBC booth with two large LCD projectors in front of the screen slightly looking down, small screen big beamers, no visible blend, great stuff at the time, now they are doing full dome projection blending warping and more, licensed to Carl Zeiss.
