So long story short, I always stretch my SD channels on my 722 (don't like the black bars on the side) From my viewing distance, it really doesn't look that bad. Anyways, onto the problem.... The 722 saves your preferences for HD, and SD channels alike. For HD, it is set on Normal. For SD, it is set on Stretch. However, I noticed just a few minutes ago that ALL of my SD channels now have black bars on the side.
I figured that the aspect ratio just got reset, but nope, it is still set on stretch. And in fact, changing the aspect does NOTHING at all, whether it is set on normal, stretch, partial zoom, or zoom. It does nothing whatsoever. Not even changing it to Gray Bar does anything. The side bars will still be black. What the heck is going on here?
It doesn't even do anything on the HD channels either (not that I need it to be changed on HD channels, but just saying).
